Young Adult Ministry

Corpus Christi Catholic Community is a place where we “build the body of Christ” the giver of Life. Therefore a place where anybody could find a meaning in his or her life, specially the young adults. At Corpus Christi we share our faith and life experiences, support each other as a means to grow fraternally and attain a spiritual maturity. All young adults (from 18 to 39 year old) - members, non members, married, singles, moms, dads, who are in the search for meaning and purpose of life, are welcome to all the church activities where everybody may have fun in knowing the Truth and our Lord Jesus.

The Young Adult Ministry is organizing two main activities this year: Dinner Talk and Movie Dinner. In the first we will be having dinner-table conversations that deal with themes and issues of young adult lives. A young adult volunteer will give a talk around the table. It will be followed by a discussion about the ideas, the issues and the solutions that have been raised during the talk. The second activity will be an opportunity for everybody, as we viewing a movie, to have fun and just enjoy the time spent with one another. The movie dinner will alternate monthly with the dinner talk. In summary, the young adults of Corpus Christi get together at least once a month around the table, get to know each other well and reflect on their everyday lives as a means to find a spiritual healing that will make them hold strong on their Christian faith.

Corpus Christi Young Adult Ministry wants to be a place of Christian fellowship where we STOP and take a break in our busy lives and, with prayers, take a new step, relieved, comforted, and strengthened by the wisdom and power of God.
