Reconciliations/Confessions

“Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven.”

Jesus’ words in Matthew’s Gospel invites the Church to continue to extend his forgiveness to all who seek it. Just as Jesus during his earthly journey forgave people their sins, so also does His people continue the ministry of Jesus by offering a special experience of God’s forgiveness.

Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) we are invited to experience the healing ministry of the Risen Lord.

Individual confessions are available each Saturday at 3:30 PM in church. Opportunity for individual confessions can be arranged at any time by calling the parish office (313-537-5770). 

Communal Penance reconciliation services are celebrated during the holy seasons of Advent and Lent to prepare for the celebration of the great seasons of Christmas and Easter.
