NEW HOPE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NON-PROFIT HOUSING CORPORATION

New Hope Non-Profit Housing Corporation was founded in 1990 to create and implement a strategic plan for revitalizing a six square mile neighborhood of Northwest Detroit. The area is  inside Telegraph Rd, 8 Mile Rd, Southfield Rd and McNichols Rd

New Hope Goals

1. To stabilize and promote a vital community for existing home owners
2. To provide adequate, affordable housing for qualified individuals and families.
3. To have our goals coincide with the goals of existing block clubs and community organizations.

New Hope Activities

Past Work           
We bought, renovated and sold homes in our area to qualified individuals of moderate or low income levels. 

Present Work
We have built and sold six homes in our area. Will have five homes under construction and plans for next phase of development.

Future Work         
We are in the process of revitalizing and redeveloping the six block Longacre Project with a plan for 54 new houses.
