Open enrollment for the coming year is April 16-17, 2007.

Students from throughout Metro Detroit receive a solid grounding in the basics at MTA. They learn reading, writing and arithmetic, plus science and history, in small classes of no more than 25 students.  They also study Spanish, computer skills, physical education, art and music.

Students are held to high standards and are taught to come to school ready to learn.  “Character education” is a way of life, as children learn the importance of personal appearance, kindness, responsibility and community service.

Students learned to give in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and when winter hit, the children themselves initiated a blanket collection to warm homeless families in their own communities.

MTA’s high school, at 23750 Elmira in Redford, gives students a nationally certified education focused on automotive technology and electronics.
